Boots is introducing new Wellness Zones into six of its stores this month, and has introduced wellness training for over 500 ‘health and wellness specialists’ across 140 stores nationwide to help customers navigate the category.
The launch follows research which revealed a growing demand for wellness, particularly amongst beauty consumers, with 40 per cent seeing wellness as an essential part of their daily beauty routine.
A further 62 per cent were also engaged with key wellness areas, feeling that factors such as gut health, hormonal balance, or stress management are important determinants of overall skin and hair health.
The in-store Wellness Zones bring together a selection of brands and products into one place with areas for gut health, nutrition, hydration, sleep, movement and beauty-from-within.
Wellness Zones in will initially appear in Boots stores at Dartford Bluewater Park, Manchester Trafford Centre, Newcastle Eldon, London White City, Sheffield Meadowhall and Dublin Liffey Valley.
A new pick-and-mix style selection of tasters from trending brands such as Humantra, Zooki and DIRTEA is included, making it easier for customers to sample different products.
Boots is also expanding its wellness offering, adding 12 new brands and 140 new products to its line-up, building on the 750 wellness lines added in the past year. Included is Wellthy by Boots, a new own brand range that includes four electrolytes with added ingredients for radiant skin, energy and focus, rest and immune support.
